Acceptance of Position Letter

If an employer does not provide you will an offer letter, a job seeker should acknowledge a offer in writing.  Otherwise, there can be misunderstanding of the position offered, its responsibilities, expectations, compensation package and other critical information to both the job seeker and the employer–not a good way to start out a new work assignment.  Being clear will help your new employer see your concern for clarity and good communications to get off on the right foot.

Here’s a sample format for a letter that one can use to acknowledge the offer, and if there is a misunderstanding, begin the process of clarifying the offer’s details.
